The pay gap reflects the difference in hourly pay as of the snapshot date, when women represented 80% of all employees. A contributing factor is the composition of our senior management and executive teams, which are male. Their higher hourly pay significantly impacts the average hourly rate for the 20% of employees who are men. As a family-owned business, current ownership is also represented by men, which further influences the average hourly pay recorded on the snapshot date.

Women make up 80% of our workforce but remain under-represented in the upper quartile for pay. We recognise the importance of reviewing our strategy to attract and retain a more diverse executive and senior management team. Progress has been made in recent years, with more senior female leaders appointed to the Operations Board and Senior Leadership Team.
